Swedishcandy4u (”we”, ”us”, ”our”) operates this website and online store (the “Store”). The Store is hosted by Shopify. By accessing or using the Store, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

Use of the Store

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. You agree not to misuse the Store or violate applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful, fraudulent, or abusive.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Products, ingredients, and allergens

We sell food and confectionery. Ingredients and allergen information are provided by manufacturers and may change. Always read labels and product packaging on delivery. Contact us before purchase if you have allergy concerns. Products may differ slightly from images due to packaging changes or seasonal variations.

Pricing, taxes, and availability

Prices include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. We may change prices or correct errors at any time. If a pricing or availability error affects your order, we may cancel and refund you in full. International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, or import fees payable by you.

Orders, payment, and title

By placing an order, you make an offer to buy. We may accept or reject any order, for example due to stock, suspected fraud, or errors. Payment is processed by approved payment providers. Title to goods passes when we receive full payment. Risk passes on delivery to your address or collection point.

Shipping and delivery

Estimated delivery times are for guidance only. Delays can occur. Delivery is completed when the carrier confirms delivery or the parcel is made available for collection. Uncollected parcels may incur return and handling fees in accordance with our shipping policy and applicable law.

Returns, withdrawal, and refunds (EEA/UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods. To exercise this right, email shopify@swedishcandy4u.com within 14 days with your order number and items to be returned. Return the goods within 14 days after notifying us. You are responsible for return shipping costs and for the condition of the goods during return. We refund the product price and the standard outbound shipping cost (if any) within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of return shipment, using the original payment method.

Exceptions and reductions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken.

• Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

• Custom or clearly personalized items.

We may reduce the refund for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

These consumer rights do not limit any mandatory rights you have under Swedish law (for example, the Consumer Sales Act).

Defects and complaints

If an item is defective or not as described, contact shopify@swedishcandy4u.com with photos and your order number. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. You may also bring a complaint to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) or use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Promotions, vouchers, and gift cards

Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated terms and may not be combined unless expressly permitted. Gift cards are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the Store’s security or operation, use automated means to access it, or copy content except as permitted by law or by us in writing.

Intellectual property

All content in the Store (including text, images, logos, designs, and code) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

User content (reviews, comments)

If you submit reviews or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Store and our marketing. You are responsible for the content you post and must not post unlawful, infringing, or harmful material. We may remove content at our discretion.

Third-party services

The Store is hosted by Shopify and may include integrations with payment processors, analytics, shipping carriers, and other third parties. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy notices.

Privacy and cookies

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies; see our cookie controls and Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Store and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to your mandatory consumer rights. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for intentional misconduct. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses not reasonably foreseeable when you placed your order. Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms apply from the date posted. Material changes will be notified where required by law. Your continued use of the Store after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any purchases are governed by Swedish law. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA/UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home country and benefit from mandatory consumer protections there.
